Industrial Insulation

Industrial Insulation

Industrial Insulation is quite a specialist field and generally involves the use of insulation materials such as Mineral or Rock fibres, Elastomeric, Cellular Glass, Phenolic and Ceramic type products to mention a few. These may be used in conjunction with vapor barriers, flame retardants, specialist joint sealers and adhesives.

Type of Insulation

  • Mineral Rockwool for heat conservation and personnel protection.
  • Heat Resistant insulation for the prevention of condensation.
  • Cellular Glass insulation for hot and cold energy circuits on both pipe work and vessels.
  • Armaflex for cold energy circuits – approved directly by Armaflex, successfully insulated lines below -190°C.
  • Phenolic Insulation for chilled services with a temperature range of +40°C to -10°C
  • Insulation for protection against fire exposure – Cellular Glass conforming to ISO-1182 for a minimum 2 hours fire rating. (Ins-Spec)
